SteelTailor™ Portable CNC Cutter
Versatile Affordable Plasma / Oxy CNC Cutting
SteelTailor is a portable CNC cutter affordable to all enterprises and workshops. It can cut any complex plane figures as a large-sized gantry machine, and supports both oxy and plasma cutting heads. Compact, lightweight and portable, with the cutter usable both indoors and outdoors.
Simple operation with simple cutting parameters setup, input through the machine shapes library, or input your own cutting shapes through G-code, with inbuilt USB drive and memory to store many cutting jobs. Comes with a free copy of FastCAM software for nesting, and CNC file output. Complete, affordable oxy or plasma CNC cutting solution, from CAD to finished piece.
SteelTailor combines complex CNC cutting capability of a large-size profile cutting machines, with flexibility and portability of hand-held oxy or plasma cutters.

Easy to Start, Program and Nest
- Drawing, made by the user in CAD, is imported into FastCAM and CNC cutting program set up, nested and transferred into a G-code file.
- G-code file is stored from PC to memory stick, and from the memory stick to SteelTailor via inbuilt USB port.
- G-code file is loaded into the cutter which subsequently commences oxy / plasma cutting.
Applications
SteelTailor CNC cutter can perform profile cutting and blanking of metal plates such as carbon and stainless steels, copper, aluminium and others. It is an ideal CNC machine for small and medium-scale enterprises with applications in:
